Setting up the Prerequisites

This section shows the TAFJ Java Message Service (JMS) MQ prerequisite tasks that you need to complete.

Procedure

1. Create root access user on the operating system.
2. On an install folder, unpack the tar.gz files. For example, WS_MQ_V8.0.0.4_LINUX_ON_X86_64_IM.tar.gz.
3. Under the install folder, create a MQINST and MQINST_FP folder by using the command below.

   mkdir MQINST

4. Untar the files by using the command below.

   tar -C MQINST -xvf WS_MQ_V8.0.0.4_LINUX_ON_X86_64_IM.tar.gz
