Overview

This section provides you an overview, uses and prerequisites of TAFC jLogger.

TAFc jLogger is the customized library created on Log4cxx of Apache. It can be used in all components of the TAFC release package.

By default, TAFC uses the logging framework based on Google logger. jLogger, that is, the logger based on Log4cxx can be enabled using an environment variable.

Export/set TAFC_ENABLE_JLOG =1

The tafc.properties property file is available to customize the following as per the requirements.

• Format of the log message
• Size of the log file
• Location of the log file
• Maximum backup log files

The prerequisites are:

• TAFC of PB201607 version
• Familiarity with setting up the environment of TAFC
