Transaction Tracing
Every transaction request needs a unique ID for tracing purpose. When a transaction is initiated by the producer (Browser, Trader Workstation (TWS)), a unique ID is generated in each of the layer (Connectivity (TOCFEE), Runtime (TAFC) and Temenos Transact), logged correspondingly and propagated to the next layer. This unique ID is pre-fixed to the request to ensure easy tracing of the transaction in each component and track the causes for failures, if any. This user guide provides the settings and sample scenarios of transaction tracing between a producer and customer.
This section provides the pre-requisites and settings to generate unique ID to work with transaction tracing.
This section provides sample scenarios for transactions in various producers (Browser, TWS and BFL).
