Introduction to BIC Database Upload
The Bank Directory Plus file must be downloaded from SWIFT. This file is uploaded into the Temenos Transact system and is accessible to all applications for verification. Series of applications are provided to facilitate the smooth transfer of this data from its native source into the Temenos Transact system. The Temenos Transact applications will allow the setting of default parameters, generating an automatic ID, uploading of the database and maintaining new or existing records on the BIC file within the system.
NOTE: Every effort needs to be made to ensure that Temenos’ release instructions are current with the latest Bank Directory Plus product, it is always advisable to read the instructions supplied with it, however unlikely, SWIFT may have included alterations without notice.
