Facility

The Facility Property Class indicates the services that are available to the customer for an account. It allows the user to enable or disable the services at product or arrangement level.

Product Lines

The following Product Lines use the Facility Property Class:

  • Accounts
  • Deposits
  • Lending

Property Class type

The Facility Property Class uses the following Property Class types:

  • Dated
  • Merge
  • Non Tracking
  • Variation

Property Type

The Facility Property Class is not associated with any Property Type.

Balance Prefix and Suffix

The Facility Property Class is not associated with balance prefix and suffix.

ClosedAttributes

The attributes of the Facility Product Condition are explained below.

ClosedService Group

Specifies the Service name for which, availability is being defined.

  • Vetting from AA.SERVICE virtual table
  • This attribute cannot be input or edited at the arrangement level.
ClosedAvailability

Controls whether the service is available or blocked or if it can be opted in by the customer

  • Available Options: Available, Blocked, Optional
  • This attribute cannot be input or edited at the arrangement level
ClosedCustomer Option

When the SERVICE.AVAILABILITY attribute is set to optional, this attribute can be used by the customer at the arrangement level to indicate whether the service is required.

  • Available values are:
    • OPT-IN
    • OPT-OUT (default value)
NOTE: Whenever an Activity which belongs to a service is triggered, Activity is allowed based on the definition in these fields. If a service is not defined then it is deemed available.
ClosedRestriction of service in Account
  • A service can be blocked at a service group level using Facility Property Class.
  • When an external Activity is triggered but the corresponding service group is blocked, system raises an error.
ClosedEvents and Activities
  • Event types trigger non-financial Activities in the arrangement based on evaluation of parameters in TEC.ITEMS. Such Activities are triggered under the ACCOUNTS-RECORD.EVENT-ARRANGEMENT Activity class enabling Non-Financial application(Action) interaction with AA
  • AC.ACCOUNT.LINK-SERVICE Event evaluates the AC.ACCOUNT.LINK (Service) application ACCOUNT.FROM and ACCOUNT.TO. fields
  • In the TEC.ITEM record RS.BENEFICIARY.OF.MAINTENANCE.SWEEP AR.MAINTAIN AC.SWEEP.TYPE is evaluated for usage of the account in ACCOUNT.TO
  • A non financial ACCOUNTS-SETUP.MAINT.SWEEP.BENEFICIARY-ARRANGEMENT Activity is triggered under the ACCOUNTS-RECORD.EVENT-ARRANGEMENT Activity Class and this is grouped under the Maintenance Sweep group defined in AA.SERVICE virtual table.
  • If the Activity is restricted any error or override is raised with in same transaction boundary

ClosedInline processing of Events and AA Activities
  • Activities are raised by Events from service Applications.
  • These activities are updated in the Activity log.
  • Service setup fee can be configured through Activity Charges.

Periodic Attribute Classes

The Facility Property Class is not associated with any Periodic Attribute Class.

Actions

Individual AA.PROPERTY.CLASS.ACTION records control which Product Line it’s associated with. The Facility Property Class supports the following actions:

Action Name Description
EVALUATE To evaluate the existing facility on an account or evaluate for additional facilities.
UPDATE Facility update is user initiated to update the Facility. This can result in re-evaluation of the exisiting Facility.

Accounting Events

The Facility Property Class does not perform any Actions that generate Accounting events.

Limits Interaction

The Facility Property Class does not perform any Actions that impact the limits system.
