Introduction to Customer and Account Infrastructure
At the time of onboarding customers, banks are required to capture specific information for the purpose of regulatory reporting. This information may vary depending on the type of customer being onboarded. For an individual customer, personal information including father’s name and address details need to be captured, while for a corporate customers, Central bank codes and CIP (Centralization of Payments) codes need to be captured along with address and legal identity details specific to the commercial register.
With the introduction of the Customer and Account Infrastructure functionality, dedicated screens for creation of individual and corporate customers will enable the bank users to capture the above required information.
The following functionalities are now available:
- Central bank codes and CIP codes are enabled for capturing customer data as part of the onboarding activity.
- The address information is enriched to include region or province, department or city and commune or territory information.
