Introduction to Navision GL Interface

Navision is the general ledger and financial reporting system. The process is to automate the posting in Navision of all general entries generated by Temenos Transact. The Temenos Transact has to generate balanced general ledger entries for all activity that occurs in the Temenos Transact system.

In the interface file, the bank requires the ability to have Temenos Transact either summarize the activities for the day of a GL (General Ledger) or provide individual postings for each activity in a GL. Also, the bank must have the ability to access the details in Temenos Transact of the entries that are included in a summarized GL posting.
