Introduction to Teller

This guide explains about the Teller feature, which calculates and validates the control digit of the below components present in the cheque:

• House, Entity and Postal + First Line Control Digit
• Cheque Number + Control Digit
• Account Cheque Number + Control Digit

The control digit is validated using the algorithm provided and if the validation is not successful, the system does not allow the user to proceed further, in order to process the cheque.
