Introduction

Temenos Analytics Predictive Platform (PP) is the Analytics and Data Mining platform built by Temenos. It is an add on module of the Advanced Analytics Platform that allowsto easily build, train and explore a variety of Statistical, Computational or Data Mining Models. It also allows for making predictions against the models, storing the prediction results and exposing those to other applications as consumers of the data.

The following figure depicts the key stages in the Predictive Platform workflow and identifies where in the process the latter fits.

The Temenos Analytics Predictive Platform is developed to provide users with a centralized place to build, explore, validate and deploy models without the need to learn a variety of tools in order to achieve the required objectives.

Ease of use and simplicity have been key points in architecting the solution and building the user interface.

Although the Platform can be deployed with a number of predefined Out-of-the-box Mining Models that can be used with minor modifications, the user is by no means limited to those. The architecture of the solution is applying a data driven approach. This means complete flexibility in defining the required logical objects (like Data Sources, Mining Models, Prediction Tables, etc.) and combining and reusing those as necessary.
